FAQ

How old does my baby have to be?

Ideally I photograph newborns from between one and two weeks old but I won't turn anyone away for being too old.

How long does a session last?

A newborn session can last up to three hours. This may seem like a long time but babies can be unpredictable and may not go to sleep straight away. Don't worry, im very patient.

What do I need to do before the session ?

If you can try and keep the baby awake for about 45 minutes before the session begins, this gives us a bigger chance of your baby being sleepy. If you're okay using a dummy, bring one. Bring an extra bottle, baby clothing and nappies - just in case.

Can I send you inspiration photographs?

Of course, if you see a pose or colours you like send me them ! We will try and get something similar for yourself - if possible.

Can I bring my pet?

Yes ! Please do, I absolutely love animals and have photographed a lot of them, especially dogs!

Do you get shots of us and our new baby ?

Yes, I always recommend getting them even if you feel like you look tired! If you are bringing another young child I recommend having an adult there who can take them out if they get a bit restless, it is a long time for a little one to be sitting waiting!

Do you take a deposit?

No , the full amount is due on the day of the shoot.

When will our images be ready?

You will receive an email to your online gallery within a maximum of three weeks after your shoot.
